Default Good price?

Thinking about buying this bike from a friend of mine. He never rides it and he's got several bikes just sitting up in his garage so he's selling a few.

2002 with 12,000 miles. Never dropped.$5,500 Seems like a good deal.. What do you guys think?

It looks very stock. To me thats a good thing. I like to fix things up my way. Even if someone is selling a bike the way I woulda done it, I still like the satisfaction of making changes myself.

EDIT: so yeah, i think it's a good deal. Variety of reasons. As long as your not interested in having the fastest best handling bike out there. It's a V-twin. With an aftermarket exhaust they sound sooooo good. And it's not much of a cookie cutter. Yeah, there are others out there, but not like Gixxers you see on every corner. Bike stands out.

if your freind told you it is a 2002. run. or make him explain why it has 2004 bodywork and a silver frame. also with 12000 miles someone rode it quite a bit.

they are nice bikes and i almost bought one prior to buying my rr. in the end power and weight won out for my purchase.
