I just received a quote from the bike store for a 2006 CBR600RR. The price qote was $7499.00 and a dealer set-up charge of $120.00. This price is plus Government Fees and Taxes, any Finance Charges, and any Dealer Document Preparation Charges. Thi looks like a good price to me seeing that these bikes are $8999 on the Honda website. They are receiving the '06's in January or February. Is this a good price or do you think they'd go lower?

 

Sounds good to me, I paid 9300 for my 05 OTD with 4 warranty. Which color are you thinking of going with?

I am going to hold out as long as I have to for the Red and Black. That is a sexy bike.

 

Well your right about the red and black it's alright i was going to go for the orange and black really. but as for the price? Yea that's a goop deal for a new '06. I wanted to have the 06 myself but there isn't much that has changed but the paint job.

How much did they add on for the warranty?

 

I don't recall off hand, it was part of the finally sale. They could tell I wasn't sold on the deal yet so they told me, we'll give you a four year warranty. MSRP is right at $9000, I wasn't going for much more. I know the MSRP doesn't include taxes, titling and dealer vaseline add on charges... but I still wanted to hit the $9000 mark.
