I am building presure in my tank when I open tha cap it blows back. I have checked the lower vent hose and it is clear. I was just checking to see if anyone else has had this problem or heard of it. It builds so much presure it damaged the bottom of my tank.

but have you checked the washer ring on the gas cap ?
