Default Front Tire Question

Are all front tires pretty much the same size??? Will a GSXR 600 or 750 front tire fit my 06 1000rr front?

Thanks

you should just take your bike to a dealership and get them to take care of it (and by it, I mean everything from now on)

If they have a 120-70-17 for a front , then yes.

Wow BigTX.. a little sensitive??

Its kind of hard for people not to give you a little crapwhen you ask a question that is pretty easy for you to find out for yourself.. a simple look on the side of the tire will tell you what size it is. you could go to any bike manufacturers website and look up the specs on thier bikes and it will tell you what size they use.

but yes, almost all sportbikes made in the last 10 years use the same front tires. aside from the 900RR's and a few years of the R6's, they are all same.

LoL just breakin you in man... justasquid summed it up just right, you just have to check the tire size then it doesn't matter where it came from... if it matches it works.

i'll jump on the a$$hole part of this one. here is how you tell.
step by step.

1) move to front of bike,
2) bend over to place you r melopn near side profile. move head in radial motion until you locate all thhose little numbers and /'s.
3) read number, if capable of reading, and write down, again if capable.
4) find gixer 600, 750, 1000,Kawi, Duc, any frigg'nsport bike from that matter past 1990.
5) repeat steps 1 through 3
6) compare answers, andanswer own question.
