you can use it as long as you don't tear it all up. I reused mine.

twoacutallythe one for the slave and the one for the cover. or can the slave be left on the cover even though the bolts appear to be common through the cover.

ok gotcha,
you have to take the slave off,
because the bolts that hold the slave on go into the sprocket cover.

the paper gasket behind it will be fine to reuse as long as it doenst fal apart when taking it apart.
if it does tear, just use hondabond or equivalent to seal it back.
the paper gasket behind the sprocket cover is completely useless because it doesnt seal anything. it is just there to go over the sprocket and to give the slave cylinder another mounting point

did the swap last night and the gaskets held up. the only minor hick up was the spacer stuck to the cover. this made it so the cover would not come out. i messed with it for 5 minutes before i realized what was going on. i was saying to myself there is no way you have to take the water pump off to change a frigg'n sprocket. once i figured it out it was a breeze. i was bummed i could not ride it to work today.

It is a bit fiddly on the 1000RR, i was disapointed when i changed mine because i wanted to leave the cover off but couldn`t because its used as a spacer for other parts [:@]
