Front brake pad noise

RE: Front brake pad noise
i've had almost the same problem. when i push the bike without the engine running i hear alot of brake pad rubbing noise and when it's on the stands the front wheel doesn't seem to turn as freely as it should. i just looked at my caliper slide bolts and they were very very dry and a little dirty so a little lube and they should be fine.

RE: Front brake pad noise
Floating rotors is normal for sounds.
What I'm curious about is that fact that my F3 has a consistent, "woosh" sound. Like it's not sporadic or random, it mkaes the noise whenever the bike is moving and it is consistent with the speed of the bike. I'm almost certain it could bea warped rotor.
Everytime I've changed pads in the past, you'll hear noises for about 30 miles and it's normal as they're seating on the rotor. However this isn't that sound.
So here's my quesiton, how does a rotor become warped? Uneven wear in pads? Heat? Changingeach sideat different intervals?
Is there a way I can test it or is it going to be such a precise measurement to find any warping? I have a caliper and a surface to test it, but I'm not sure what else I might need.
Thanks for any input.
