Honda will void your warranty if you use anything but Honda oil and filter. So... make sure you keep your filter. Stands, Pit Bull are the priciest, I use Vortex, but there are a few other good quality stands out there. I have a buddy that has DMP stands I cannot find anything wrong with them. Click here for a link.

Unless the Honda dealer here in Jacksonville is different i disagree, ALL warranty documents i have say AND the laws in almost all states say the dealer cannot limit your repair and maintance options. You can do it your self but you must keep ALL receipts for all parts everytime. That means for every service you have to show you purchased the proper type of oil(any brand will do), quantity of oil, filter, chain lube AND cleaner, and any other parts required with each service. OR you can take it to an indepentant shop if you please. BUT for your first 600 mile service Get a filter, oil, chain lube and cleaner.
