I'm a fan of the 06-07 1000RR, although I've never ridden one. I like the way they look. Performance wise, I think this bike is a step in the right direction, although it may be a bit small for bigger riders. I'm 6'0', 175 and it fits me pretty well.

I think a big change in looks is always going to be tough on riders with recent models. Hell, I still love the looks of my original red/white/blue 900RR!

 

the honda dealer here in Beaumont, tx just got some in and we went by there today at lunch and check them out...real nice bike...but they have the 07s for $8800 otd...hard decision to make...still checking out the differences...been on a 95' 900rr for a few years and want something new!

 

Hey 900rrStud what are you selling the 08s for? Realistically if I was gonna haggle on the price are you gonna sell any in the 9s yet? I've got a dealership here in Georgia selling them for $10.5k OTD which is pretty damn tempting.

 

I am kind of up in the air with the new design, i'm not really a fan! The bike looks nice but I think it lost some of the real agressive look that previous years have. Maybe the new look will grow on me...anyway good luck and be careful.

 

 

i love it. really love the black on black and black and silver. they aren't releasing the black and white scheme here are they? i would really love to ride one, are most you guys just riding on from a dealership?

 

I've had mine a little over a week, just under 400 miles so far. A number of the posters on this thread have picked one up too.

 

IM LOOKING AT GETTING ONE IN ABOUT SIX MONTHS...JUST GRADUATED COLLEGE AND HAVE TO BUY A NEW TRUCK FIRST...TIME TO BE RESPONSIBLE AND IT SUCKS

 

Around July and August is when they start taking 2-3k off the price around here. Thats when I got mine.
