False Neutral?
Has anyone ever been in a situation where they've attempted to down shift from 3rd to 2nd and ended up in neutral instead, but without the green neutral light on your gauges coming on?
Had an incident just like this at the track earlier this week. Was down shifiting to go into a switchback turn when I realized I had no gear. I was counting on the engine brake of 2nd gear to slow me down going into the corner. When I realized I had no power my only option was to stand it up and try to keep control as I road straight through the corner and into a gravel trap. I was able to keep the bike standing up and never lost control, but needless to say I pretty much crapped my pants. This has happened to me before on this bike, but twice now doesn't seem right.
Anyone had a similar incident?

i did a couple of times with the stock rearsets/linkage; hasn't happened yet with the gilles set up; not sure how much if any adjustment there is on the stock linkage, but i'm sure removing the play from it would probably help the problem a great deal
