I just bought a brand new 2007 CBR1000RR for $8,399 out the door price.
That is a great deal for an 07, what color was it? Even though the black 1k was not a limited edition in 07 or 06 it was hard to get the dealersto discount the black bikes. I paid $8.5K for my black 06 in Nov 06 after nearly two weeks of negotiations between two stores.
I got the black 07 only black one they had left, a buddy of mine at work just picked up the last one they had (silver).

$8399 out the door & down the road to your own state where you pay TT&L right?
I bought it 15 minutes from me at the honda dealer ( FairWay Honda) Somerspoint New Jersey). I was looking for a couple of months and the best deal I seen was $8995 in New York for a 07 and $8795 in Penn for a 06.

I see the ad on ebay and couldn't believe it was right down the road from me, so I drove down there and bought it that day.

Total price with Taxes, Tag and Registration was $9,056, no other fees. They had 5 or 6 to get rid of or otherwise they would have to start paying a floor fee to the manufactor, so the longer they sat there the more it was going to cost them. Alot of dealers don't own the bikes and if they don't sell them in a certain amount of time they have to pay a floor fee. Not sure if this 100% correct but this is what I was told.

Is there sales tax in PA? The floor fee must be true. Otherwise why wouldthey dump the bikes whenthey won't have 08's to selltill March?

i just got mine last weekend. paid 8299 for a left over 06 no miles on it and out the door with everything was just under 9000. silver in color. got it from roush in medina ohio. also was looking at a shop in canton ohio which had 2, 2007 1000rr at 8699. they had a red and a silver 07 in stock for that price. but the place i bought from will most likely be my dealer of choice since i also got a service plan from them.(prepaid service for 3 years) they seem to be a good dealership. lets hope there service is as good as sales is?

Yeah that was the best price that I could find anywhere and not pay any extra fees. Like I said a buddy of mine at workbought one also at the same price. The dealer was getting calls from all over for these bikes.
