How are the numbers wrong? And if jet exhaust it 3500 and its a huge JET engine, how can motorcycle engines put out 2000?

where did you get these from for one?
2-oil fuel, natural gas, lp have different btu contents
when you have been in the hvac buisiness for 23 + yrs-and lived and breathed this industry and have built a million dollar + company up from the ground -we will talk-back to point one- did you actually record these furnace temps or just typing what you read? what type of device did you use???????????

1st off slow ya roll speaking to me like you king of the hvac world, Im not sayin im experienced in the **** just sayin Im questioning the temps posted on moto exhaust when i see stuff like that chart. what i stated was fact on the btu content of different fuels-hence different temps-simple 1+1 =2 logic,2-i different say i was the king- just knowledged in it-it 's where i make my money at- so yes- i do take it seiously

it is from my experience motorcycle temps top out around 1200-1300F not 2000F thats a considerable difference.

I agree with you, the temp on the gauge should never be higher than that. The actual hottest spots in the exhaust can get pretty hot, though. Ceramic header coatings are rated for 2000 degrees, and I have seen them cracked.

have the te 72 and downpipe jet hot coated on my 89 tta- no cracking here
