The "best" exhaust is the one that you like best. Slip-ons all give pretty much the same extra power, which isn't much. Personally, I've got a Micron twin outlet on my Repsol, because I liked the look!

i tend to disagree, most of the people that have said this have a lower end pipe that does only put out a minimum amount of hp but research has shown that high quality slip ons like sato, arata, akro, leo vince when paired with a BMC race filter and a custom map will give in the upwards of 10 plus.
some people have got over 14 rwhp with an arata slip on and a good tuner,
on the other hand yosh, D&D, micron, hotbodies, etc will give you maybe 5

id like to pictures and dyno charts but i have already done that a lot here.
the hooliganbiketech page is the best i have seen for showing the value of an arata. there he documents each mod and what it did for him on the dyno
flapper, +2
bmc race filters +2
arata pipe after map +10
all on the same day with the same dyno

Good system, one of the top rated among Superbike teams.

I like Arrow the best myself.

Go to their website, pretty cool how they show the differences between quality exhaust and cheaper ones. Sounds good and you will get a significant amount of power with a power commander and a custom map. www.akrapovic-exhaust.com/
