They won't let you take the basic course on your own bike if that's what you're planning on retaking. You'll have to sign up for the advanced course.

There's also a fairly new MSF course offered for sport bike riders that you might be interested in. It's only being offered in a few areas for now but I imagine that will expand as it becomes more popular.

You can add a throttle reel but it isn't going to make a difference. Wide open throttle is wide open throttle. If you don't want to do power wheelies don't whack the throttle wide open. Sell the bike.

Yeah I'm calling troll chit on this as well.

10k rpm in 1st on my F4i has me hitting highway speed. And thats intentional on my part to enter a freeway. I don't see you hitting 10k on a liter bike. Don't see you doing it on a 250.

8000rpm is approximately 50 miles per hour in first gear on an 08. The only decreasing power is cognitive, probably from a slow seepage of fecal matter from the ears.

I was in 1st gear might not have been 10 but it was over 8k for sure. Yea i do need to adjust the throttle. The MSF i took is through the army and they let you use your own bike, they also have the advanced and sportbike courses.

I agree. Adjust the throttle...lengthen the swingarm. Put on some big crash bars and frame sliders and wrap yourself in bubble wrap for good measure. Whatever you do don't take control of your throttle hand...wait... maybe there some aftermarket gizmo that can add traction control that plugs into the stock wiring harness...
Maybe Russian Roulette would be safer.
