i was riding to work this morning on the freeway and i was going around the turn and there was a co riding his harley bike or whatever the hell they ride..sitting under the bridge..the speed limit was 65 and by the time i saw him i was running about 90 and i saw him getting ready to come after me, so i just decided to kick it down to 2nd and goose it, i never looked back til about the top of 3rd and he was nowhere to be seen...silly *** cops...do they really think those iece of **** bikes will run with the liter bikes....i never understood that and esecially the ones that like to chase it in the car....what a moron...haha

 

You can't outrun the radio tho !! Would be very carefull trying to outrun the popo. Some of those guys might just as soon see you go down. Not cop bashing in any way, but i've seen some of em get pretty worked up trying to serve a speeding ticket. Would be my guess that he didn't even try to give chase once he knew you were runnin. Those cop bike def arn't gonna overtake you at full throttle, but w/a good rider, you'd be surprised w/what they can do.

 

Be careful about running or breaking the law on this forum......... Most of us on hear will start bashing your decision making.

 

Just be smart out there, because sometimes it's just not worth it.

 

i can understand running from the cops in some instances. where i live there are very few good cops anymore. most of them break the law themselves and only go after people like me with loud exhausts and not people who are actually a danger or the many drug dealers here. plus in NY there is no more plea bargaining with troopers so if they catch you , your screwed. but def be carefull. my brothers and father were cops and that radio can do alot of damage and some cops are really angry and wouldnt care if you wwent down

 

I hate to break it to you, but those police bike are badass. Our department has 8 and they can keep up pretty damp good with a liter. You got a jump on him though,. Be careful!!

 

Your a Police Officer? Thats a mistake to make you one...guess if your the only type of people they can get, whatever...I doubt your a cop at any rate.

thank you for sharing ... however, it's the general consensus of the staff that:

1) it's dumb to run
2) even dumber to post it on a public forum
3) sorry, but most of us really aren't interested in that type of behaviour ... honest.

So that everybody is on the same page ... runnin from the cops threads will be locked and deleted from now on. There are probably other forums on the net that cream their panties when hearing about that kind of stuff -- we aren't one of 'em.
