I have an 04 cbr that the previous owner gutted the muffler. I got a used stock muffler but mine doesnt have the valve in it making the other too long. Any otjer i saw all have the valve. Other owner said it was stock muffler he bought bike new any ideas

 

perhaps you should install it with the valve.....
