Default Exhaust Installation for CBR 1000RR

Hello
I would like know about how much does the installation of a CBR 1000RR 2006 cost from a dealer and a non-pro? Specifically, a Two Brother exhaust.

Yeah dealers are just hourly rates, is it a can or full system your thinking of? I did mine can myself and it really was easy, i`d recomend that save some money and get to know your bike better.

That price is for a slip-on. Two Brothers dosen't make a full system for the 1000rr.

Unless you're completely useless with a wrench I would do it myself. It's pretty straight forward. I have the two brothers can and the directions were fine. And besides if you have a any questions the people here know their SHI#!

+1 with the other guys. Install it yourself, unless you're a quadraplegic.

It does take a little time since you gotta tear a lot of the backend of the bike off. But that's just a matter of unscrewing nuts/bolts. On a 1000RR don't think you're gonna do it on your luch break. There is no welding or fabricating - just nuts/bolts & some models of exhaust use little coiled springs to attach sections together. Fear Not! Just Do It! It's not crucial, but a rear swing arm stand makes things a bit easier. Other than that it's basically socket wrenches, box/open hand wrenches and Allen type wrenches.

Good luck & have fun with your own bike... don't pay someone else.

Cheers
