RE: adjusting suspension for another rider
may be i not understanding but are you talking about adjusting the suspension every time some one other than you rides your bike. If thats the case why is someone other than you riding your bike so often. I got boys too but they are not always on my bike. Im just trying to understand your post.

I don't carry passengers on the back. But if I did, I would adjust the rear spring pre-load.
It really depends on how the bike feels, and how far you are going to ride. If its a longer
ride, then you may want to consider setting it for the additional weight.
If you leave the bike with the standard settings, it will most likely wallow around and feel
a bit sluggish - especially when making turns and it may bottom out on larger bumps.
Hopefully, others that ride 2-up regularly can give you some more detailed information.
Good luck

yes i was talking about riding with a passenger. i am probably a little on the light side with only weighing 150. i barely squat the bike when it's just me. but i just thought with my wife on alsoi should probably set the rear preload a little more on the stiff side . i figure i can adjust the dampeningto a medium-stiff setting and just leave that alone. but i thought a quick turn of the rear spring pre-load might be a good idea each time. i drive it to work and back but we try to get out on it alot on the weekends and stuff so i figure for that i could adjustit.

ofcourse not. i gotta get a spanner tool. i seen them at the local shops for about 25-30 bucks. i was hoping to find a happy medium for the dampener and front and just adjust the rear spring for the weekends (when the wife will ride with me mostly).

Does anyone elses front seem squishy? Do i just use a flat head and turn 1/4 turn to right to make harder? How do I adjust rear If I make to hard cn it cause problems in turns? I have told kit from 06gsxr 600 will they work on honda springs? My dealer left out the user manual so I got to go get it.
