8k+ service - prices ? recs ?
after going through the manual i realised that i'm running a little late
my last oil change was @ 6k nonetheless so not too worried
how much ya cats reckon i pay for the 8k service ?
been quoted $280 and a week's wait @ the local 'superstore'
also any recommendations within LA - preferably west side ?

I would speand the $280 on "me" by buying the shop manual, oil, filter, and tools to do it the service myself. Even if you have to speand and extra $100 at least you can do your next oil change a lot chaper then the super store will. By the manual and take a week to do it on your own and learn about your bike.

Yep do it ya self, i did do em all myself to its easy. For ya 8k its oil n filter change, and air filter change by the book. But i changed the coolant, and brake fluid too while i was there cos i know how hard the beast works. Even if ya do all that its only gonna cost ya a third of the cost compared to if you took it in to a store.
