I qualify!

43 with a CBR1000RR-05, ride like a fool, wheelies stoppies and even look forward to seeing the rain for some drifting action (on my old 98 RRW).

I should know better, but i'm past caring what people think

Love this one the most! This whole thread is an insperation. I'm 29 (soon to be 30). A few guys that I ride with sold thier bikes and got crusiers since they say they out grew sport bikes. (Personally I dont think they were ever true enthusiasts. They got the bikes to get ***** on and never pushed the bikes or truely learned to ride them). I want to get the Honda Fury but dont want to give up my sport bike. Back on topic, very cool to see this and read the posts! My dad has a crusier and loves to ride my bikes. He's 51

I'm with your dad. I sometimes feel like I outgrew my cruiser.

Default just turned 58 two days ago..

Howdy, I've just turned 58 and ride a cbr600f2..looking very hard at the new cbr1000rr's by-the-way...
most guys my age now ride the harley or honda baggers!
not me, i like the feel of my sportscar (cbr600) compared to their big ole cadillacs (harleys or goldwings)..lol!
i say keep on riding til you cant swing your leg over the bike!

Some said the older riders are inspiring. I'm 46 and reading thses posts has inspired me. I have ridden since 1980, started with a new CB400 or 450. Have owned Kawasaki, Suzuki and Hondas but not one Yamaha. Getting really close to pulling thetrigger on a '08 1KRR but concerned about the power of the bike. Hopefully all the years of riding will have made a good foundation. I see this as one of those deals you can't pass on. Reminds me of the stories of the first gas crisis. '69 Boss Mustangs sold for $1,500 with only a few thousand miles.

Well shoot, put me down on list too. 42 here. Really wanted a 07/08 a couple of years ago, but settled on my Triumph Speedy. Great bike but i always wanted a little more umph out of it. Flash forward to bad economy and unreal prices on the 08's. Two totally diferent motorcycles but one twist of the throttle on the CBR brings a smile to my face and a "Thats what im talking about" shout! Really it's more like a holy **** scream but still smiling.
