2008 cbr1000 colors
Why does the European market always get the better color schemes than we do? Like many I thought the new cbr1k was ugly but when I saw it in person It looked much better and now that I have ridden one I want to get one.
So far the yellow and black looks pretty good and honda red looks good but its like I'm settling for it. I want the black and white one that's available in europe, or the black and red.
Same thing for all other bikes, the Euros get better colors. Why oh why. Watch me give in and get one this year only for them to release a repsol edition next year or if they are really smart release a hanspree edition as well.
What will they do about there 600, make them even smaller. The new 1k is smaller than an R6.

Funny you should have that opinion because living in the UK which unfortunately is part of Europe I had the same dilema. I wanted the one that you guys got over the pond, the black and silver one in my opinion is the best looking of all. The black and white one according to my local dealer is the most popular here but I am not so keen on it. I took one on a test ride and it was like riding an annorexic dairy cow on speed. I ended up with the black one but am starting to wonder if that was a good choice because 50 yards down the road it needs a bloody good wash and pollish again, it shows every mark and splash and living in Scotland we get lots of splash. The black / burgundy one is nice to look at and is better in the flesh than on the Honda website but just didnt look man enough for the bike that it is somehow and I just dont like 'winning red' which is the traditional blade colour with some black flashes. Thats all we got here 4 choices at least you got 5. By the way are all your bikes restricted? We get full benefit of about 170 horses here.
Cheers anyway and I hope you are happy with whatever one you go for, afterall, its the ride aint it.

lol...yeah I agree about the Black/White version...cow lookin...lol nahh don't like it either.. I have the Silver/Blk edition and happy with the choice.. Yeah its true...they all pretty much top out at 186mph and would think there are some margin of error... Last year I had the 04' CBR 1000RR and I toped it at 186mph It did not go pass that...**** I didn't need too...lol
