Hi All
I'm new here and hope I'm not repeating a post that has been asked a million times before...
I currently own a 02 VFR 800 that I've had for 5 years. Turns out I don't do a lot of touring or two up riding and I'm looking for something new. I'm thinking either 07 CBR600RR or 06 CBR1000RR. My ride is mostly commuting on county back roads and is seldom over an hour.
Your input is appreciated.

They are both great bikes. One or the other, you will notbe disappointed. I would love a 07 600 to add to the collection.

 

I agree. They both handle very well on both the street and track. Obviously, the 1000 will have more power.

Check the insurance prices on both of the bikes, that might help you make a decision.

 

commuting on backroads ? get the 1000rr
carving the backroads ? get the 600rr

since you're coming from a VFR background i figure you're a sensible guy so ya should be well in control on the 1000rr. Plus the 1000rr has tons of support and aftermarket options available
