Default 06 cbr 1000rr

Info on the bike I'm looking at:
It's an 06 CBR 1000RR

6,500 miles

It's white with the honda "wings" in black (the vinyl that goes from the upper fairing back to the side fairings and then kinda wraps around the gas tank)
The seller said it has been wrecked but was repaired by a licensed mechanic. He said that his buddy took a turn to fast and the bike slipped and it damaged the plastics and the handle bars but it's all repaired.

The bike does have a clean title

He's asking $5,500 but said he would accept $4,400 cash

I just wanted to get all the experienced peoples thoughts on the '06 CBR 1000RR I am going to look at one tonight or tomorrow and will probably buy it, but need your opinions first. How good are these bikes for just city/freeway riding, how comfortable or uncomfortable are they for rides that are longer than two hours?

Nevermind, I went and looked at the bike and the seller made the bike sound like it was still in great condition since he "repaired everything". The first thing I noticed on the bike was all the plastics up front that sit under the handle bars were gone, the clutch and brake handles were shaved down pretty good, the shocks had brake fluid building up on the bottom of the shocks, there were scratches on the frame and lots of other parts and then he told me that he has a new R6 and when he pointed at it, I couldn't even tell what type of bike it was since it had not cosmetic parts on it and he told me he got T-boned when he was riding it. Hahah, people like this should NOT own bikes!

very good decision not to buy.. take your time and never ever rush into buying anything.. go with a seasoned second pair of eyes to be on the safe side. Just maybe this person used this bike as a stunting bike..?

if someone is willing to move that much on their bike there is probably a reason for that. My 06' is listed for a thousand more than that one and i might move a couple hundred bucks and thats about it.
