Hey Capin' O- I don't recall that '94 GTS, but those years I was very busy with Junior Dragsters. That's incredibly cool. All it's missing is a shaft drive. Too bad they were over $15 grand. A really nice find for you. That's another one I'll put on the lottery list!

Hey:
Capt OB, how do you like that GTS and how does it compare to the old CBR?
Dub
Well I haven't really rode it at all. I rode it home after buying it a couple of weeks ago, and just last week got around to changing out the front tire, and changing all the fluids (brake, clutch, oil and coolant) before I actually took it out and rode it.
I've been commuting on the CBR for the last couple of weeks now that it's light out longer. One thing that I did notice is the GTS seems lighter. But it's really only a few pounds lighter then the CBR. Our 1Kf's are porky bastards for sure. With steel frame the CBR carries it's weigh higher so it feels larger then it is.
Also the GTS's ride is super smooth. Bumps almost don't exist to this machine. Very little brake dive either.
I'll do a better comparison when I get a chance to put her through her paces.

I was very fortunate to find such a nice example. Yes very rare and they were uber expensive new. $15K in 1994! No wonder they didn't sell many. I paid far less then that for my 2005 FJR!
