Default worn carbs

Hi guys. Brakes finally sorted at least it stops good now. Have another problem. Carbs are worn badley and components are expensive so will a set from a newer modle fit. Mine is a 1989 1000f need help cause need to ride

90 and 91 will fit for sure
I THINK the later ones will also, but wait for someone who will put his ......on a block
I have a spare set of 88's which look identical to my 90's but who knows.........?

Don't think the 88 carbs will have the vacuum port to open the fuel tap cos '87 & '88 used the pump?

CBR1000H & J Carbs still have vacuum ports on them for balanceing but they are normally capped with a small cap so still could be used on models with a vacuum operated stopcock. Just attach vacuum hose to # 1 carb as normal

Mine have a hose on the left carb so maybe they are from an 89 Mk2 bike......?
Bought them on e-Bay awhile ago, so not sure.....
