Good on you R1000. Its great to be able to get out, but I wont be out now until the end of april, as in the middle a major rebuild which I hope will improve the bike no end. The track at Nurumburg, is that not about 8 mile long or 16k.

Been on bike from 11.00 to 14.15 today . I have heated grips, a face maskand good clothing this time of the year, so I was warm all the time even at high speeds. The ****-dyno fullyapproved the 4-2-1Akrapovic system. The somewhat weak midrange hasbeen curedand the bike pulls very hard from7 to 11 k and is a realpleasure to drive. If I had known this resultI would not have bought another head that is still at the shop for porting. Well, the porting is done since long but the exhaust valves and all seats needed work.

I believe the Nurburgring is 20.8 km long, it is the so called Nordsleife http://www.roadracers.co.uk/nring.htm
