Two days ago I bought a couple of gloves at Lidl (www.lidl.se) and after trying them out for a few hundred km's, I'd say they seem to be better than the Jofama-gloves that cost twice as much money. Funny that the discount store Lidl are selling motorcycle gear, but I hear it's not the first time and some of it seems to be not bad.

It was a pair of those too largeLidl gloves that was laying here, which worked so well in cold in combination with the Hestra liner gloves.I'm using the Lidl 89 SEK ($15) face mask when around 5C or lower, which works very well.

Seems like, once again, we pay too much for "branded" items like Alpinestars etc when other, cheaper stuff is often better.

Where I live, early morning commutes might be at 30 degrees F a few weeks out of the year. I have thinsulate/dry tech gloves from Joe Rocket, thinsulate/gore-tex snowmobile gloves from Reima, and thinsulate/rain guard gloves from Fieldsheer. It's only 14 miles, but my hands always get cold. I have small hands, which means a higher ratio of surface area to bulk, and sometimes I think that's the problem. Or it could be the 80mph wind chill.

I'm getting heated grips this year.
