I bought my wife a seat cushion called Air Hawk and also combined that with a sheepskin cover now, after 200 Ks she is sitting pretty no more moving around, bit of a problem when she would move trying to get comfortable on say a corner.

I believe tommyrut is looking for a kit to move the front foot pegs back several inches (including linkage for shift & rr brake levers) - commonly refered to as "rearsets". They provide for a much sportier riding position. I had a set on my 1982 CB900F, for a short time - didn't like them. I haven't seen any installed on a CBR1000F and don't know of any that will fit, sorry.

Hey:

The 87-89 CBR1000F has a more rearward set of footpegs than the newer 93-99 bikes,

but you need an after market exhaust as the stock rear pipes won't work with them.

They move it back about 2 inches and are more comfortable to me.

They are a direct bolt on with the exhaust change.

Great info. I have been looking but came up empty. I loved them on a CB750F that I had. I always am looking for a way to put my feet rearward on rides. I have a TW pipe and I guess they would work togeather.

It sounds like you have already done this. What do I need, Pegs, mouse trap and pedal?

Hey:

The left shifter side you need the black bracket from a 87-89 bike as you can use both your old footpegs, and

you need the shifter as they just bolt directly on the tranny shaft with no linkage, on the right brake side you need

the complete black braket with brake arm and linkage as its a set to work together.

For me I used 89 vfr alloy footpegs (no rubber) and a 97 cbr1100xx alloy shifter and modded a 93 cbr900rr

alloy brake to fit on the right. I had to make a little spacer for the footpegs to work, but it looks trick to me,

no steel or rubber. I had to reweld the cbr900rr rear pegs and drill new holes to get matching rear pegs.
