Got the carbs synced yesterday and watched the rain come and go all day. Finally got a ride in today and what a difference. It felt like a new bike, pulls stronger and no hesitation like I was having in low RPM's. Got home after my ride and watched an Isle of Man TT race, much better than NFL.
I pulled my old ZZR600 out of the shed yesterday to clean it up ready to sell. While I was polishing it I looked over at the windscreen on the CBR ... hmmm, that looks a bit scruffy. So I took it off and waved the buffer across it a couple of times. You can actually see through it now. Next I might even wash the rest of the bike.
Hit the road Friday so time to get ready. All the usual suspects to comply with and then...
I installed heated grips and a aux power buss. After a ride home in the rain yesterday I knew it was time to get that done. My hands stop working when they get cold.
My plan to insulate the left grip from the handle bar didn't work out as well as I wanted so the right is a bit warmer than the left. No biggie, just uneven heat.
The aux buss is powered only when the key is on via a relay. It has four fused outputs. One for the new grips and one for the GPS power this coming week.
