I bought a new torque wrench yesterday. Its amazing the feeling you get when you know things are properly tightened. Will go around the rest of her 2mrw and make sure she is right.

in my haste i for got to turn the petcock to on from reserve thanks it seems to run fine now was lookin to shake it down today but its cold in cny

I remember once coming out of a marriage consolers office and jumping on my bike and taking off, a little pissed at the ex. got half way down the street and the 'Cane died. $hit not now in front of the soon to be ex. Yes I forgot to turn the petcock to on, also

 

Doesn't really count , but it is 'Cane related .

Replaced the garage roof over the past two days. No quick repair job , roof off including joists and a completely new flat roof .

I'm feeling pretty smug , I can tell you
Not bad for an old fart single-handed , though those roofing sheets were a bit big , good job it wasn't windy , one big gust and I'd a been hang-gliding

So my 'old lady' has got a nice warm dry home to sleep in

 

Put the new NGK Iridiums in today as well as some new decals on the side where the Super Sport decals used to be. Hope to get out this weekend and have a scratch.

 

i took my header off to sand it down and hit it with some high temp paint. no more rusty header!

 

I replaced my steering stem bearings, my front disks, and I'm finishing up my fork seals. Ordered new brake pads, tires, wheel bearings, spark plugs, and K&N air and oil filters. Hopefully I'll have it ready for the State inspection by Saturday.

 

I just picked up a new Haynes manual for her off Ebay UK for 45 bucks posted to my door. Beats payin 60 odd dollars here.
