Raising the fork tubes 1.5 inches is a lot. How did it affect handling?

By the way, I had Metzeler Sportec's, but they wore quickly. I have Avon Azzuro's on now and love them, but I'm getting Avon Storm's next.

I'm happy with Michelin Pilot Road 2s. Good wear, good in the rain and grip well in the twisties. Had a Bridgestone (can't remember what) and good grip but the highway use wore the centre too quick for my budget. Metzeler Z6 were good on the highway due to solid centre section on the rear but I prefer the feel from the Michelins. If I wanted more grip I'd go the Pilot Sports.

I am going to go with the Pilot's front and rear. Raising the tubes or "lowering the grips" really didn't do much for the feel or the ride except bringing my head lower to the shield.
