I hope I haven't misread your post but let's make it clear for all so they don't buy something that wont work..

The f4 RR wont work on a CBR1000f. (Or if a wiring modification is made then either there is "No charging" or there will be "Over charging").

Here's why...

The F4 ( and most other bikes ) have a fixed magnet charging system. Like this ....

The CBR1000f ( and only a few other bikes) have an electromagnet charging system. Like this ..

The additional leads on the RR plug provide the switched variable voltage to the electromagnet to enable variable charging to occur.

WARNING -
The EBAY 5 wire RR advertised as "Rectifier Regulator Honda CB750 CB750F CB1000 CBR1000F" by FACTORY KISS (and others) do not work. ( there are full reports on this forum about this).

WHAT TO BUY -
The Electrex UK unit ( as referred to by other forum members).

If you want to read a fuller insight into the CBR1000f RR this paper I wrote might help.... HOW TO - REGULATOR RECTIFIER - http://tinyurl.com/734engf

What an awesome set of resources Naga!
You've done a really interesting and nicely composed series.
Nice to see you online, again.

UK electrex r/r and connectors on the way. Hopefully part is delivered via supersonic jet! Clock is ticking on northern New York riding season!

Thanks to everyone for the input.

I'm sure I can speak for everyone - It's always a pleasure to help, and it's one of the reasons we have become the "go to guys" on the internet when it comes to these bikes.
Best of luck and let us know how you get on.
