Voltage regulator on a 94 cbr 900rr fries after one year. is there some thing i should be looking into as to how and why it died or can i just blame the aftermarket brand on ebay for being cheap? The wire harness is all melted like when youput those HID bulbs on your car headlights. Is the stator maybe bad? help.

it sounds like you might of had a wire over heat and melt intoone of the others causing a chain reaction . did this happen after you hard wired your electrict fan ??? now you should trace all the wires to see which ones are burned and go from there
