Default voltage regulator

so im gonna put a gsxr voltage regulator on my 94 cbr 600f2. just wondering does anyone know what year would be the best or at least what years are compatable???? i've heard that anything yr 2000 and later will work. just wanna make sure before i buy one.. thanx.

I think up to 05 will work. After that, I believe they went with more than 5 wires and some even with double plug ins.

If your going to buy one on ebay, just look at the pic and make sure it has a single plug, and only 5 wires. Then you should be all set. Plus, there is a sticky with a good write up in the F2 section which tells in detail what steps you need to take to make the swap.

I think the break down is like this though.


01-05 600
98-05 750
01-05 1000
99-07 haybusa..... should all be the same. thats not to say others years won't work, but I think those models all share the same rectifier that will work.
