Hmm, good suggestions: I had settled on the idea of sticking two on a spare keyring and carrying them in the ole' jacket pocket.

Wow, yes: tempting. Wrong model year, but I guess that doesn't matter - the bits and pieces look right. US$99 translates into about AUS$500 (ha ha) so may not be right for this fiscal month. Ooooo, but I am tempted...

Yep, I second the "best offer" method.
Just lowball the chit out of him... Send an offer a few times until you get to your max.
What do you have to lose? Maybe you'll get lucky.

my `87 uses one key, you can diy split the key tumblers to fit one key
