Default Tomtom

I have just purchased a Tomtom GO 720 and have found that there is not a bracket assembly to fit it to a motor bike, you get the suction cap thing for the car but no bike.

Has anyone out there had the same problem ?? I am currently in R& D Mode to produce one.

Plenty of people where I work have Sat Navs - most find the Garmin Zumo best as it is designed for a bike (but can also be used in a car). It is waterproof and you can use them with gloved fingers.

We went to Belgium this year and the leader of the pack had a Sat Nav. I have never done so many U turns in one week! I am sure he had the thing upside down!

I have mine sat in the clear top map pocket ofmy tank bag.
For power I have tapped in to the main fuse box on the left hand side of the fairing.

Works great for me ( just need to remove unit whilst programing. )

I have a 12 Volt power outlet next to the ignition so that I can run other 12 volt chargers like mobile phone charger. Arnt GPS supposed to be positioned in an open open situation ?

The clear plastic cover of the map holder is no different to the windscreen of a car they are both behind a material that is not metallic.
