England?

Hey, did you know that there's one of those old arcane laws on the books in England, where books are illegal?

It's ok though, you can get off on a technicality...nobody there can prove they're books.

Shadow,

Some of the Britts still have a hard time accepting the whole UK concept. They just don't like being lumped in with their lessers, such as Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Detroit.

Actually Joe , though that is correct it's also the other way round . The Scottish , Irish and Welsh hate the English and don't like to be called English , so they called it 'United Kingdom', 'cos we been killin each other for so long

It's a bit of a 'love hate' relationship..............we love to hate each other

WHAAAAAT ? INFERIORS ? THE IRISH, THE WELSH AND THE SCOTS (God bless them)????
At least they aren't a mixture of Pics, Angles, Jutes, Saxons, Norman, Viking and assorted brigands from Europe.
Slaint'e 'as Saol agut ! Up de Oirish

Dunno about Detroit - the Motorcity has its own problems, Cleveland too (the Indians) he he.

I spose saying the Irish are second class is like confirming that the Nicks suck at basketball, and the Yanks play like girls, huh ?

Hey Hawk. Is England itself still divided into two sub-countries? As I remember there was the Watford line between Northerners and Southerners.
