Default tank breather pipe

it seems to have been the wet season in the uk for a while,
i use my cane every day and it has been wet, last tuesday the bike started to splutter like she was dropping a cylinder or two, so my first thought was coil or plug. MORE SPENDING MORE EBAY
She then cleared and ran fine for a day,the next day i had to stop for fuel, when i removed the filler cap the tank neck was full of water got to work and dried the neck out. Ran her home that night and she coughed and farted all the way home.
The weekend i had the tank off and the breather pipe from the tank neck was squashed up and some of the water had got in the tank, so the fuel from the tank was put in the wifes car (it`ll do no harm in their ), repaired and re-routed the breather, new fuel filter and new fuel and she is running sweetley again.
the moral is start with the simpleist and cheapest every time.

You'll need wire the thickness of a paperclip. I think welding wire may be too thick.
FWIW
