Ok, so I went ahead and finshed the project still going to part it out or sell it to help off set the cost of a new bike but here are the finished pics

Nice, a far better integration of the new rear than I thought was possible. A minorpoint - perhaps some rounding or some blackpaint on thewhite panel corner towards the swing-arm would make it even better. Verywell done !

I want to do this samething to my bike. I like the style on the new bikes where under the tail is exposed. Makes the bike look less bulky. I have the same bike as you and am needing to do work on the plastics cause of an accident I just had. Did you have to modify the frame at all or did you just work the new tail plastics in place and its basicly a bolt on?
