Default tail swap

I'm thinking about changing up my bike. I have a 1993 honda cbr1000f. I want to do a seat conversion on it. I was thinking about buying a tail fairing from a newer cbr600 and doing some serious fiberglassing. I want to get the dual seat look on my bike. Has anyone tired this? I think it would look sick!!!

No need for fiberglassing if you buy the fairing, just modify the mounting points on the subframe if necessary to mount the new tail and you're good to go. I've got an '03 600RR tail, front seat, and rear cowl on hand waiting to be transplanted onto my '89 600F1.

Well your going to have to do some fiberglassing. You have to join the existing tail section to the newer dual seat tail section. When are you going to do this conversion? I really want to see pics of what it looks like! What are you doing for the driver seat? Are you going to cut your existing seat in half and then re-cover it or are you using the new seat from the 03?
