Sorry about the absence, short break!

Right, took her for an MOT, and she passed. My mate pointed out the shock and I confessed I knew about it, he said it should be a fail. The spring is fine, it has to be the damper. The noise I am hearing seems to be the bike as it is thrown up with no damping force against the stop. My damping screw will turn half a turn with very little resistance then to a stop in either direction.

It has either had an oil leak prior to me buying it, or it is just knackered. I have had no fluid loss while I have had her. Time to start looking for a replacement I think.

Pop down to your local brakers, They should have one that you could use for now, but dont forget that all important serial number. All the best.

You should get one full turn on the rebound screw. There are always a few cheap ones popping up on ebay.

I definately dont get that, and there is no difference between the Soft setting and Hard setting. I am keeping my eyes peeled
