Sure, I love that sound as well, is not something you get out of a 4-1 system, this is more of a "sport" sound, not a "racing" scream

When I'll order the new set (these are a bit rusty), I'll tell the guy to gut them so I'll get the right sound, and not the holes! hehe

One bike I love the sound of it as stock, and is that "ferrari" sound, is the ZZR 600 (or ZX6). Had the chance to ride a couple of them, that sound just makes you go faster and faster.

Hawk, did you use 2 holes? That sounds good!
BTW, I have the exact same bike as you... (well, without the decals)

Its dead stock Classic

I choose to do large holes to avoid the (pffft) noise, but it would be to loud if I did more then that. I drilled 3 holes (two 1/2" holes and one 7/16" lol) on each can, was trying a new look I guess.

Well, you done good hawkman!!
That's why I was wondering in earlier posts about how many holes I wanted to drill and how big. Thank you much for the video and description, it's helpful.

As soon as i get my poor girl put back together, I'm gonna do something similar. Just gotta finish a carb sync, and charge up the drill!
(btw, on a side note....if you can help it, don't ever buy an F'er with all the P.A.I.R emissions crap....It should be called P.I.T.A instead)

Both methods are a vast improvement. I think I'll try one or the other on mine
