Default Stator test

OK, so I got my new (spare!) stator. When I test between any of the 3 yellow wires, I get 1 ohm as expected. I'm assuming that means it's good? There's also a black and white wire on the other end of the plug. Is there any test that need to be done with those wires?

Thanks guys,

Warner

Those are the end of the exciter coil.
You should have continuity between them but not to ground.
You should get something like 2.5-3Ω
The book doesn't cover them as far as I can tell.
