YAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a 1000F again !!!!!!!!!!
And it seems to be working..........but let's not speak too soon.................
Not too many spare bolts either

So we have 5 who have now done what the book says is impossible..........It's not:
one paperpusher, one chef, and one military man have now done it, and Stu, and Andy and it actually works.
Thanks to all for the help esp Stu without who's guideline I wouldn't have even tried it, and Andy you're a gem, thanks again for the spare bits.
I'd say it's more a test of patience, than of mechanical skill, and I walked away from it a couple of times when things weren't going to plan, due to my own inattention to Stu's words.

Now for the rest of the maintenance....................but not today.........
it's couch time
