Default spark plugs

hello everyone can you tell me if i have to take the gas tank off to change out the plugs and what is the gap in the plug supposed to be set at thanks for your help

first you have to remove the saddle. Then remove the two 8mm bolts that hold the front of the gas tank in place.
Then lift the front of the tank and the prop rod will engage and hold the tank in place.

Gaps are set at .8-.9mm (0.030-0.040in).
