Shinko 005's
Anyone have any experience usingShinko 005'son CBR's? I originally bought my bike with a new one on the back, and I'm due for a front one. I cant figure out whether to replace them both with somethingfrom the top 4 brandsor just match up the front one with a new Shinko.
I have reviewed it around the forum, but I get mixed thoughts from riders from good to bad. Figured I'd ask in here........

RE: Shinko 005's
Thanks for the input guys, I'll think i'll take R1000's advise and ride it out on the back. I'm thinking of going with Pilots so I'll replace the front with that and replace the rear Shinko with a new Pilot later. Is the rule of thumb that you get twice as much milage out of the front as you would on the rear under normal driving ? Or do they generally wear out around the same time. On my nighthawk, I would have to replace the rear twice as often as the front.

Generally, people seem to get twice as many miles out of a front tyre as they do from a rear.....
I'm a bit **** about scalloping on my front tyres, and change them both together, as I feel the handling suffers badly enough to warrant it. I find when the front tyre is scalloped, the bike won't hold its line in corners properly and at low speed the front end wallows around .
What experiences do the rest of the guys have on this ?
