Rolli,
Not wanting to ignite an oil war either and I know the US guys love the Rotella but I run Castrol Power 1 10w 40 in both 1000 F's and my Blackbird. Its specifically designed for these types of bikes and is a semi synthetic. Each to their own of course and yes this oil is expensive but I see it as an investment in the longevity of the engine. I've never scrimped on engine oil quality and never will. I also usually run genuine Honda filters or HiFlo HF 303. Either are fine.

Bordo - I've had to give up on Rotella


Why

Because I found Mobil 1 Delvac (Rotella Equivalent) cheaper

I don't think we're hooked on Rotella - just whatever does the same
job at a great $$$$$

I dis à flush or m'y système aigu 50/50 water and vinegar, let the motrice run for ten minutes until it was warm , normal operating temp and theme
