I heard a rumor that the later cbr 1000f modles were chopped downt to 125 horsepower right before the black bird hit showrooms. can anyone verify this. I would be inclined to think this is just a rumor but would like to know anyway just for kicks. If by some chance this is true, what year model did honda start with 125 HP. I really hope that isn't true though

The only thing they did as the bike got on in years was to spread the torque out and lower.

There were restricted European models at 100hp.
