Hey has anyone ever put a cruise control on their bike. My friend has one on his cruiser, and I put on alot of highway miles and wondered if it would work?

I had it on my Nighthawk back in the day. It was inexpensive, worked ok, and it was nice to give your throttle hand a break. It didn't always hold the speed exactly, but overall it was worth it. That was about twelve years ago, maybe they've improved them since then.

I found a kit, and it was pretty cheap. Only like 35 bucks. I am going to try it and if it works. I will post pics.

What kit did you find? Been wanting to do it but the throttlemeister is expensive.

"It will not Engage or Disengage automatically."

That Throttlemeister cruise control is crazy. It isn't a cruise control at all, it is a throttle lock. IMHO, anything that locks the throttle is pure craziness. I can not foresee any situation where the benefit of locking the throttle would out weigh the risk. Maybe if you are drive mad miles on an open, straight, isolated highway, but why would you have a sportbike if that where the case.
