Hey:
I agree with Sprocks observation, it is a 94 or 95 CB1000F, no resto unless he has the title, or knows the previous owner and can get it, otherwise a title search fee and hassle is going to happen. I'd pass, as it looks pretty tweeked and parts are not plentiful for those. Unless you buy it to part out, then maybe you can make some money on it. Offer $200 or you may not break even right away. I may be interested in some of the parts if cheap enough.

Good call there Sprock and Dub - and it'll never be a 1000F
The clocks are wrong, tank's wrong. - from a nekkid bike I think. I've never seen a CB1000 up close, sooooo Lookit the length of the silencers !!!
Could be buying a world of hurt, there.
I'd keep looking, for a real 1000F and as the "Rebel" says there may be other issues like paperwork which are not fixable.

Good call, Kerri. I kinda agree with dropping the restoration idea. (unless you know a lot about bikes.... and you have some time to really look it over)
The only other thing I would do is research what spare CB parts are going for... and then decide if it's worth offering a hundred or two. Then if it's not an easy restore.. just part it out and make a few bucks.
