I have searched this forum for some guidance on buying replacement plastics for my bike. I can't really find a definative answer, I have found links to some aftermarket makers, that don't have my bike listed, and of course I have been checking ebay, I have some time to complete this, but I would prefer a kit for the bike instead of replacing them one by one, but eitherway. My bike is a 1991 Honda CBR1000F. and I would even be willing to change up the body stile of other plastics were compatible, or could be easily modified, anyone have any ideas? thank you so much

 

Didn't do a through search, but I was having trouble finding a kit manufactured for
your model/year. I'm guessing, you may end up, having to piece it together. Hopefully,
one of the forum guru's will have a better answer for you, though.

I checked out airtech and they don't have the fairings for my year bike. The other place doesn't seem to have them either, but I am not reading what the site says lol, just looking at the models listed

I know the only nose that and nose cover panels that iwll work on my bike are the 89-91 modesl, but are the 92-96 sides and belly compatible with the 89-91 body? I have seen more parts for those as far as side plastics, and i could just grab those if they will bolt up and marry with the nose and tail.

I've been trying to look online for what will match up, it looks like the engine covers from a 93-95 will match up with the nose and side fairings, does anyone know if this is true? if that is the case I have no problem running 93-95 engine covers and belly on my bike.

Yes, they will work. The 93-00 front sides and lowers will work will a couple of mods. The side covers are the same as is the seat. Best mod to a 89-91 is change the rear cowl to a 93 up with tail light IMHO. they look way better. I CHANGED MY 91 to all 93-00 body work as I found a complete bike.
